Copyright infringement notice
A notice should include the claimant's contact information, identification of the copyrighted work, the location of the material, a good-faith statement, a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and the claimant is authorised to act, and a physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notification
A counter-notice should identify the removed material and its former location, include the subscriber's contact information and consent to the appropriate court jurisdiction, and state under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification.
Misrepresentation and repeat infringement
ResearchCave may reject incomplete notices and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation may create liability under 17 U.S.C. Section 512(f).
