Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to and use of ResearchCave services.

Who may use the services

You must be legally capable of entering these Terms and meet any minimum age shown for the relevant service. If you use a service for an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind it. Additional product, order, community, developer, or payment terms may apply and will control for their specific subject.

Accounts and acceptable use

Provide accurate information, protect credentials and recovery methods, promptly report compromise, and comply with the Acceptable Use Policy and Community Guidelines. You are responsible for authorised activity through your account.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, transmit, display, and otherwise process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and promote the features you choose. The licence ends when content is deleted from active systems, subject to reasonable backup, legal, safety, and shared-content retention.

Platform rights and feedback

The services, software, designs, and ResearchCave materials are owned by or its licensors. Except for rights expressly granted, no rights are transferred. Feedback may be used without restriction or payment, but we do not claim ownership of your underlying intellectual property.

Moderation, suspension and termination

We may investigate reports and restrict content, features, or accounts where reasonably necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, non-payment, or material breach. Where appropriate, we provide notice, reasons, and an appeal path. You may stop using the services and request account closure at any time.

Third-party services and changes

Integrations and links may be governed by third-party terms. We may change or discontinue features, but will provide legally required notice for material adverse changes. Updated Terms identify their effective date; continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance only where permitted by law.

Disclaimers and liability

Services are provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to those rights and product-specific terms, is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss.

Governing terms and disputes

Mandatory local law and consumer forums remain available where they cannot be waived. Any additional governing law, venue, informal resolution, arbitration, or liability cap applies only when clearly identified in an order or service-specific terms accepted by the parties.
