Children's Privacy Notice

This Notice describes safeguards for younger users and should be read with the Privacy Policy.

Age eligibility

Each service states its minimum age. ResearchCave does not knowingly permit an ineligible child to create an account, and age assurance is designed to be proportionate and minimise additional data.

Parental authorisation and design

Where law requires parental authorisation, the relevant feature remains unavailable until an appropriate process is completed. Defaults for younger users limit public visibility, unnecessary contact, profiling, precise location, and targeted advertising.

Reports and deletion

A parent, guardian, or affected young person may contact to report an ineligible account or exercise available rights. We verify the relationship proportionately and delete or restrict data when required.
